What a difference a frame makes
With the decision made from the selection of images in the previous post, it was time to print it. As someone who can be a bit of a control freak when it comes to acceptable quality, I invested in a decent printer last year enabling me to print images up to A3 size at home. This also means that when it hasn’t gone quite right, I can tweak it.
However, when I printed my chosen image I was a little disappointed with the quality and the more I looked at it, the worse it seemed to get. So, I printed a second version. This had exactly the same result. At this point, I figured that there was no harm in trying it in a frame as it was and then deciding what to do.
As it turned out, the frame brought it to life and made me think; ‘What was I worrying about? This meant the process was complete and it now ready to be delivered to the exhibition space at Rainham Marshes, Essex.
So, if you have prints at home, frame a couple and give yourself a new outlook on an old image.
