About

Hello and welcome to CADEPhotographic. You may have already viewed the main site at www.cadephotographic.co.uk and be wondering about the person behind the lens. In that case let me introduce myself. I am David Croker, an Essex based photographer who specialises in images of nature and events. My aim in both contexts is to capture great, natural looking images and keep them as close to thier original state as possible.

Moving onto me, my interest in photography started at a fairly young age, using a film based point and shoot camera before having a go with my dads film-based SLR. Thinking back, the lack of editing opportunities and less images per film are probably why I still maintain the attitude of ‘keeping it natural’ From this point onwards, a combination of employment situations and being in the right place at the right time, led to my first digital SLR purchase, a Canon 450D. Purchasing this in itself was enough for me to become more assertive with my progression as a photographer, and allowed me to work with a range of people as well as start photographing events.

As the past few years have gone by, I have strived to upgrade my photography equipment and now my kit list is as follows.
Canon 60D Body
Canon Battery Grip BG-E9
Tamron 17-50mm F2.8
Canon 50mm F1.8
Canon 60mm F2.8
Canon L 100-400mm F4.5-5.6
Canon EX430/EX580
Flashgun Cokin 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 ND filters
Canon Remote Shutter Release
Hannel Giga T Pro ii Intervalometer
Velbon Sherpa 200r Tripod
Lowepro Vertex 200AW

Thanks for visiting and please feel free to take a look around.

    • Hi Jason, thanks for the comment.

I use a Canon 60D, which is on the list however, I have now changed the wording to make it clearer. Thanks for drawing my attention to this and for taking the time to look around. Am now following your blog.
